places4friends is on a mission to keep localism alive: instead of paid ads, algorithms, or fake reviews, you get recommendations for independent cafés, bars, restaurants, and shops exclusively from the friends you trust. Friends pin spots on a shared interactive map, mark must-see highlights, add photos and comments, and build a personal wishlist. The platform spans a Next.js and Supabase web app with a live Mapbox-powered map and social feed, plus a companion React Native (Expo) app for iOS and Android so recommendations stay in sync wherever you are.
